STRATEGIC GOALS The assets and strengths that TROT have
developed and nurtured over the years - its donors, its collaborative partners, its constituents, its volunteers, and its
commitment to the special needs community will continue to be a priority. The goals listed below are intended
to guide the TROT Board of Directors through the year 2012. - Grow and sustain Board membership including growth and development of the Advisory Board
- Ensure program viability
through vigorous fundraising for special events, private donations, a year-round sponsorship fund, and building the endowment
fund.
- Use personal
resources and connections in the community to increase visibility and awareness of TROT
- Pursue sufficient capital resources for
an arena shade port to allow program expansion and address health considerations of our special needs riders.
- Oversee continuation
and expansion of the Veterans Riding Program and other specialty programs
- Maintain a strong volunteer base
